AFPP APPOINTS W DENIS INSURANCE BROKERS PLC

April 2011 –The AfPP has appointed W Denis Insurance Brokers Plc to arrange a Medical Professional Liability Insurance scheme for its members

The AfPP provides education and support to appx 9,000 theatre nurses, operating department practitioners and other individuals working in and around operating departments. The Medical Professional Liability Scheme is underwritten at Lloyd’s of London and is available to all eligible members. It also provides insured members with access to a Medical/Legal Telephone Helpline manned by medically qualified barristers and solicitors 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
